Greetings, fellow Alumni. I have been getting a lot of questions about when the 50th year reunion will be. Rick, Rex, Debbie and I had a meeting last year with the manager of Shark Club in Waterford. Rick got ahold of Jack Lewis from the class of 1970, and they talked about a joint class of '70 and '71 reunion at Shark Club on August 7th of 2021. I had a conversation with manager Valerie at Shark Club on February 4th and she said to me they won't know until the end of April due to the COVID-19 pandemic, along with the governor of Michigan and the health department guidelines. So this is a reminder to let you all know that we are still working on seeing if we can hold an event this year. I have contacted 3 other places for our 50th just in case. One is St. John's in Plymouth/Livonia, The Renaissance in Livonia, and The Embassy in Novi/Northville. All three gave me the same information that Valerie gave me. So be as it may, I will keep you all informed when I get more information. Thanks for your patience.

Hard to believe it has been 50 years! Reunion coming soon. Details will be posted as they are confirmed. We will also be starting a Facebook page, where we hope to connect with as many classmates as possible. Many Thanks to Rick and Larry for doing an awesome job at putting together a terrific 40th Class Reunion for all of us. The food was fabulous. The venue was perfect. The entertainment was tops (thanks Barry Boys!). The fellowship I enjoyed with all who attended was more than gratifying. I really appreciate the warmth and genuine welcoming spirit exhibited by all who attended. It was great to see everyone again.

Although I am sure there were more than just you two putting together the reunion, I want to say "great job". It's a thankless task to do all of the planning required to pull something like this off, but you guys did a really good job. Food was delicious, music great (especially the live portion) and the people there were "the best". I had a great time and am sure all agreed with that. Thank you both for all of your efforts.

Hey every one I opened up a group on Facebook for Walled Lake Western graduates to join so we could plan events, gatherings and anything of interest to help get the word out as well as plan things. I know not eeveryone is on facebook but it is a start and I am hoping that we can make this work and be able to get more people to gatherings and reunions. We just had the 40th reunion of the Class of 71 and it was great and everyone said they would like to do more things more often. What a GREAT TIME! Both at the Richardson Center last night and Friday night at the Mug. Thanks to Rick Reid, Larry Bilas and our other classmates who helped pull it all together. Thanks to John Gunn for a great dinner blessing and to Jim and Tom Barry for performing some well loved tunes for all of us. Oh! And you, Larry you! You CAN sing! That was great. What a special and fun event!

I have been married for 29 years and have three kids ( 2 in college and one in HS). I still have a job and make a descent income-- I have been working for the same company for 19 years. I own a house in Chelsea - have lived here since '83. I took Tae kwon do with my kids for about five years and earned a black belt. I have though about you and Jon and Vick and Lisa over the years. I hope you are comong to the reunion--I would love to you!
